During Covid 2019,
Mission Languages had to make the quick transition from offline to online while taking on this project the deadline was scary and exciting at the same time. However, when I saw the opportunity to practice saving small businesses and empowering their mission globally through engaging and educating them while practising my product thinking skills, I knew that I simply couldn’t miss this opportunity.

What exactly is Mission Languages?
Mission Languages is a lifestyle design program that teaches Students/ Young Individuals that act as a mediator in helping them fully immerse themselves in a new country.
So what?
Students and working Individuals in European countries were heavily impacted by COVID-19 and needed the resources to stay afloat in different countries without the languages. Mission Languages is the perfect solution as it connects you with the local teachers making the transition easy.

Primary Research + Contextualization + Road Map
👀Time to get curious👀
🧩Piecing things together🧩
What are the pain points?
Before covid was entirely offline directly connected to Schools/Universities & embassies of different countries with an online presence on their websites.

What will success look like?
Independent online presence to begin alongside an increased percentage 📈 in the webinar attendance. And more collaborations across different European Countries and organizations.

What makes/breaks a good landing page for Mission Languages?
During my research,
I came across various articles and blogs with my team which we compared to the landing pages of 10+ companies, to conclude the elements that made them successful.
We then listed out repeated elements of the most appealing landing pages, and I considered these while designing.
What design system components are we working with?
As the Lead Design Hire, I had to communicate with the CEO and the management to understand and segregate before I could create a brand guideline which I could then pass on to the Marketing team. This was very exciting as I got to design the set components.
What were my design constraints, if any?
Something important to me was to understand how far I could go with my design. Well the only restrictions I had were the colors as they were already set by the CEO.

0 to 1
As the Lead Design Hire,
I was given, word documents and no references the entire project was from ground zero. All I knew was this project needs to be done within 2 months, It had to be done while the landing page already being active. At this point, I had to make sure I learn quickly about the company and from the company.
Reflections
Biggest Challenge
To design and develop at such a short duration while making sure that the Homepage is always active.
If I could do something differently
If I could do anything differently I would have developed more channels for feedback internally.
Biggest takeaway
Direct communication with clear vision can fast track the work 10x.
